Its generous dimensions (150x200cm) and double thickness offer a cocoon of softness where you can take refuge when the cold sets in. This flamboyantly intense red plaid is much more than a simple accessory. It's an invitation to relax, a warm refuge where you can curl up and enjoy incomparable moments of cocooning. Its high grammage of 660gsm guarantees perfect insulation against the cold, while its soft, plush texture caresses your skin.

Whether you place it on your sofa for fiery movie nights, or on your bed for soft, passionate nights, this large red plaid will bring a touch of warmth and character to your home.

Country of production :At Plaids Cocooning, we strive to combine comfort and respect for the environment in every one of our products. That's why we're transparent about our production and transport choices. Currently, our fleece and faux fur plaids are made in China, more precisely in Changzhou. We work in partnership with weavers who must meet OEKO TEX criteria. This standard imposes strict norms on all technical production practices with respect for the environment and people. This decision, though difficult, is motivated by technical and financial constraints. We don't yet have the means to set up large-scale French production to meet our quality and price requirements.

However, we are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of this delocalized production. That's why we've opted for liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping, a cleaner alternative to traditional fuel oil, considerably reducing CO2 emissions and other pollutants. What's more, we limit our shipments to twice a year, to further reduce our carbon footprint.

We are actively developing solutions to bring our production back to France as soon as possible. In the meantime, we do our utmost to offer you quality products, while respecting our beautiful planet.

Preserving its softness

Your single- or double-layer fleece blanket is designed for maximum comfort and warmth, while being easy to care for. Here are a few tips to preserve its softness and quality wash after wash:

Good news! Your fleece blanket can be machine-washed without any worries. Choose a delicate program at 30°C, with a small amount of detergent and, above all, without fabric softener. Fabric softener tends to weigh down fleece fibers and reduce their ability to retain heat.

After washing, you have two options for drying:

Air dry: Lay your plaid flat on a drying rack or terry towel, away from any source of direct heat. Let it dry quietly, and it will regain all its softness and fluffiness.

Tumble drying: If you're in a hurry, you can use the tumble dryer, but sparingly! A quick tumble at low temperature is all it takes to restore volume to the fibers. Be careful, however: excessive tumble-drying can amplify the phenomenon of static electricity.

1. How do I care for and wash my faux fur rug?

Our faux fur plaids are designed to last and remain soft over the years. To preserve their fluffy look and shine, we recommend machine-washing at low temperature (30° maximum), using a delicate cycle and mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener and tumble-drying, which can damage the fiber. Instead, dry flat in the open air, to preserve all the puffiness of the faux fur. By following these simple steps, your plaid will remain as sumptuous and enveloping as on the first day.

2. Is a faux fur rug really warm?

Yes, and that's its greatest asset. Thanks to their double thickness and their high grammageOur faux fur plaids provide dense, enveloping warmth, incomparable to that of a classic plaid. The long hair traps air and creates a cocooning barrier, perfect for winter evenings. That's what makes these plaids so spectacular, yet so effective at warming the atmosphere.

3. What's the difference between a faux fur rug and a fleece rug?
