The iconic Plaid is a must-have at Plaids Cocooning: a simple layer of fleece whose patterns vary according to the desires and inspirations of Victorine, the designer. Like every year, we have evolved the model by offering you colors and patterns that are out of the ordinary.

For this model, find our iconic one available in shades of gray reminiscent of the great snowy plains with an original print: a majestic deer enthroned, like an invitation to travel.

The iconic Plaid incorporates all the qualities of the single-layer range: a particularly soft and dense fleece (300gr/m2) to keep you warm during cool evenings while cocooning. Without artifice, this throw will delicately dress your sofa.

Preserving its softness

Fleece throws (single or double layer) can be machine cleaned and are very easy to maintain. For the entire fleece range, opt for a program at 30°C, with very little detergent and never fabric softener.

Then let your blanket dry in the open air or put it in the dryer for a few moments to restore volume to the fibers. Please note, however, that using the dryer amplifies the phenomenon of static electricity.

Our faux fur plaids are designed to last and remain soft over the years. To preserve their fluffy look and shine, we recommend machine-washing at low temperature (30° maximum), using a delicate cycle and mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener and tumble-drying, which can damage the fiber. Instead, dry flat in the open air, to preserve all the puffiness of the faux fur. By following these simple steps, your plaid will remain as sumptuous and enveloping as on the first day.

2. Is a faux fur rug really warm?

Yes, and that's its greatest asset. Thanks to their double thickness and their high grammageOur faux fur plaids provide dense, enveloping warmth, incomparable to that of a classic plaid.
